After a long and eventful career in pharmaceutical production, he left industry to focus on writing full time, a goal he might have achieved if it weren't for the pleasure of travel, the lure of the golf course, and a myriad of other distractions.

Dan graduated from Anglia Ruskin University with a 1st class honours degree in Chemistry and gained a Masters degree in Strategic Quality Management from Portsmouth University. He is a Member of the Royal Society of Chemistry, and a Chartered Chemist.
